Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
The battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron's dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye.

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
This is one of the best damn movies ive seen all year !!! i was impressed with how funny the movie was too, this film is packed with action, explosions, hilarious lol moments the stunning features of the movie kept me going all the way through.
personally me an my girlfriend loved this movie as others may not agree i think the common person will love it too. As someone who did not grow up reading/watching transformers i loved going into this movie not knowing what characters were too come and this will be for me..... A Blu Ray Must b*y.

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
I didn't like it.
Before the film I wondered why some critics were attacking it for being mostly CG robot fights, because everyone loved it in the first film.
Now I realise why. Plot comes first. If you're engaged with the plot you're engaged with the action.
In this case I definitely was not. The script was a mess and would've been much better if they had developed the story is a simpler function. i.e. focus on the main character. I lost count of how many useless scenes were in the film, and the plot holes were really wide - black holes, sucking in the actual plot.
Which left a load of robot fight scenes feeling like a VFX reel (albeit an impressive one, for the graphics).
Anyway, it's not a film I'd recommend but if they'd focused on story it could've been as good as the first.
5.5/10

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Bf felt similarly - "what plot?".
I gotta say I liked it! I think I went into the film with expectations of it just being a fun film....cmon, its transformers after all
. So 7/10 from moi. (Minus points for bf saying that I should dress up like whatsherface during the garage scene.
)
Wasn't the little decepticon turned autobot soooo cute?

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
I dunno about the CGI this time especially, seeing it on the IMAX, it just looked blatantly obvious, not in the yeah it's CGI that's the only way to do it, but in the yeah, it's there, and it looks kinda shoddy.
Film sucked too, 5/10
