Not my typical film choice but I thought i’d Give it a go.
And I was not disappointed!!!!!!!
The entire cast presented a hard-hitting story of gangsters, violence, drugs, murder, betrayal and most importantly revenge.
Every character was portrayed fantastically and I was sucked in from start to finish.
A great look at the gangster underworld which is still relevant today.
Well done Idris Elba!

Re: Yardie
I need a rewatch of this. I couldn't understand what was said most of the time because if the thick Jamaican accents.

Re: Yardie
I had the same problem, The Sparrow. I'm usually very good at being able to tune into accents but struggled in parts right to the end of the film. I don't know if I could watch it again though it was a good film. The Sparrow wrote:I need a rewatch of this. Re: Yardie
I thought I'd rewatch yesterday but I was tired so not worth me trying. I've never had this problem for the duration of a film. A few words hear and there but not the whole film.McG wrote:I had the same problem, The Sparrow.
