I have been asking that myself but so far purely for laziness reasons MicMacs as the cinema is down the road and the screening starts at 11 instead of 10.30am.

MicMacs for me. Even though I've seen it already. Freestyle just doesn't appeal to me at all. A Romeo & Juliet romance set in the world of freestyle basketball doesn't exactly set my pulse racing. I'd like to say that I would see it just to support British cinema but it just doesn't look like the kind of film that's worth a trip to the cinema. It's showing on Sky Box Office from next Friday anyway and is available on DVD the following week.

I think I'd probably get more enjoyment from inserting a DVD of Freestyle rectally, than inserting it into my DVD player and watching it.

Jean-Pierre Jeunet has made at least 3 classics.

Micmacs could be one of the top 5 free tickets of 2010, along with A Prophet.

They were just talking about Freestyle on BBC Regional News, as it was made in the East End on a budget of only £100,000 by the same people that made Shifty. There was a short clip from the film and some soundbites from the actors. They say it will be in cinemas from Friday 26th.

Without a shadow of a doubt: MicMacs.

I loved Amelie and a Very Long Engagement from the same director. Very quirky movies.
