Case 39

#1 Post by tibba » Mon Jul 06, 2009 11:31 pm

Was trying to look for competitions, and look what serendipity brought me:

IMDB URL:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0795351/

Thought it was a very suspenseful trailer, and wanted to share with you guys.

Not released until September this year.

I'm so looking forward to this movie.

This film is now being advertised in the cinemas, and is to be released on 25th September. From what I've read, it's very a very tense thriller, starring Renee Zellweger. The certificate has yet to be decided, but The cineworld magazine says that if you liked The Orphanage, The Haunting of Connecticut, and Orphan, you will like this film.

I wonder what Renee Zellweger will be like in a serious role? She does comedy rather well, doesn't she?

Personally, I think Renee Zellweger is a highly versatile actress, and I definitely look forward to her portrayal of such a completely different role from type. I think we'll see her long-term, not like the fleeting starlets that pass a certain age and are binned, so to speak.

I'm disappointed that the release has been postponed; I was still thinking it was imminent and hoping for previews! Still, perhaps something to look forward to in the short, dark days of December.

I can understand how you feel. I'm looking forward to this as well. Might be that the dark days add to the eerie atmosphere - hopefully.

When it comes to it, I expect I shan't want to go out to see it if it really is on a dark, cold, possibly wet winter's evening!
