This afternoon sick as a dog I dragged myself to see Vincere (Marco Bellocchio) From begining to end the whole film is spotless, perfect acting, perfect directing and first-class editing.
Highly, highly recommended!

I went to see this at the weekend, and thought it well done, and a great story. Music and acting were fantastic. But, while I engaged with the Ida Dalser character, I did not really get as absorbed in the film as much as I had expected... I think my expectations were too high... I really wanted this to grab me from start to finish. Worth seeing though...
