I've got plenty of favourite movie moments f3lix, but don't know how to do video links etc.(not that clever)

BUT...

I love Gone with the Wind, when Rhett Butler tells Scarlett: Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

ET - when the little guy is dying, and the plant is getting weaker as he dies, and then he makes a recovery, and I start to fill up with tears about an alien dying...

Independence Day - too many good scenes and lines -

[after smacking the alien in the head]
Captain Steven Hiller: Welcome to Earth!

I'll try to come up with a few more.

oooh! great idea for a thread f3lix, i cant help but think i will be back in to add to this as moments and memories come flooding back. heres a few that jump out...

Rutger Hauer - bladerunner - the whole attack ships on fire scene

big lebowski - the dudes beverage is spiked at jackie treehorns pad, cue the dream sequence!

dead mans shoes - (pick any bit to be honest!) paddy considine faces up to gary stretch, just yards from his gang in the worst 2cv ever!

third man - bit of a cliche, but the moment where orson welles peers out from the doorway, his face illuminated, and we finally meet harry lime!

(cant do video links either.luddite or too lazy to learn!)

Damn, you listed 2 of my favourites of all time! "Tears in Rain" scene is my no.2 of all time. But no. 1 for me is the build up to the greatest twist in movie history.

1. "No...I am your father" -

2. "Tears in Rain" -

3. Business Card Scene (American Psycho) -

Want to list more but..ughh..gotta work ;)

Great thread, F3lix and a good list too.

Good choice! Also love the bullsh*t scene and the bathroom scene in How to lose a guy...

In Elizabeth when Dudley asks her to "save some part of us!" and at the end when she comes to tell him that "I will let you live to always remind me just how close I came to danger."

Great comedy, actually the best moment for me was towards the end when drunken Dudley observes "he's taking the knife out of the cheese...do you think he wants some cheese?" :bwl:

You must have seen a different film. Elizabeth isn't really a comedy.
