Take That Progress Tour 2011

#1 Post by hdaniel82 » Fri Oct 29, 2010 10:31 am

WOW
:jawdrop:

So, Take That tickets went on sale at 9am this morning.

Finally got through on the phone after refreshing 8 browser windows for 55 minutes and making over 200 phone calls on both my personal and work mobiles!

Tried for tickets for the Saturday 2nd July and got some for Level 5, not really ideal as they are kind of up in the gods.

But then as I was on the line, I thought I would see what they had for Sunday 3rd July. They still had level 2 tickets, so I booked those too! I will just have to sell the Level 5 ones on ebay! There are people selling them on there already, and looks like they are making a killing.
Preferred cinemas:
Weekdays: Central London (all West End), West India Quay, Greenwich O2, Vue Islington
Weekends: Greenwich (O2, Odeon, PH), Vue Stratford City, Stratford PH

Please see this Official Statement from Ticketmaster:

Due to totally unprecedented demand all ticket agents across the UK, including Ticketmaster, are struggling to cope with the sheer volume of people logging on to try and b*y Take That tickets. The knock-on effect is also creating problems for the UK telephone network, it’s been confirmed that it’s also straining to cope and that call volume is at least twice that of the Michael Jackson on sale last March. We are working to resolve the issues and we are confident that fans will be able to p*rchase tickets and we ask that they keep trying.
 8O

I eventually managed to get through after about an hour, got general admission tickets for Friday. My mate also managed to get tickets for me for Cardiff so I'll be having a little Welsh holiday next year. o/ :D

I could take a stalking er sorry a trip round Cardiff seeing where Dr Who Torchwood and Being Human are being filmed, as well as Merlin
