Theyve not confirmed many at the moment obviously but you apply for tickets and the tickets are free :)

she's great, a sort of Karen Carpenter meets Dusty Springfield voice

I lucked out and got The National last year, which was the one I wanted most. Still find it odd that they were playing to a room full of people who mostly had no idea who they were. Some of the louder songs really got in the way of their conversations.

This week is a big week for iTunes Festival announcements. We'll be revealing five new additions to the Festival line-up starting with The Script who will perform on 12 July.

Dublin's biggest band since U2 presented a new take on Celtic soul music with their debut album. While The Script used the same mixture of guitar, bass and drums that populate any number of rock bands, the three-piece is equally indebted to hip-hop and R&B. Their new album Science & Faith delivers more exquisite soul-searching.
