yes but then don't you think £12.99 for one guarantee free preview per year is a bit steep?Kaybeelon wrote:Wasn't there something on their website at the time that you get at least one (or 2?) films per year and if you don't they'll give you your money back?

Absolutely! Wasn't trying to justify them but replying to Aruif re t&c wondering whether you can say you are not receiving a service if the only thing they promised is at least one screening ... which might be at the end of the year for a film you didn't even want to see ...Yinster wrote:yes but then don't you think £12.99 for one guarantee free preview per year is a bit steep?Kaybeelon wrote:Wasn't there something on their website at the time that you get at least one (or 2?) films per year and if you don't they'll give you your money back?
aruif wrote: for those who have signed up make sure you have a look at the t&cs and anything you think isn't reasonable behaviour since they took your money threaten to take them to trading standards because from where i'm sitting you've pa*d for a service you are not receiving.
Having said that there might be a kind of cooling off period in which you could still cancel the contract and get your money back anyway ...

Re: Seefilmfirst VIP membership.
You know what you sign up for - if it's at least 2 free codes a year and you are getting them you can't complain. That 2 free codes a year for £12.99 is rubbish is another matter. If people want to p*y that money to feel like VIPs who don't need to sign up for free codes here, that's entirely their prerogative and their problem.

Is this for a different screening or just a new code for one of the screenings that are already on this site?nat21985 wrote:Just thought I would let u guys know that I revieved an email from them last night with a VIP code for water for elephants which I can't see posted any where on the forums. Wow, I've just received the invitation e-mail. They must be getting really desperate and scraping the bottom of the barrel...

Well perhaps they're profiling members and think that because I'm old, I might be rich? Or that I have more money than sense?

Re: Seefilmfirst VIP membership.
got a response however i am still unclear why they haven't upgraded me. My paypal and email are the same and my account is still active
anyone else get this?If you have signed up for VIP and payed via PayPal with a different email address to what you registered with SFF, then we need you to send us your Show Film First email account.
If you only have one email address that you used for both, then you need to re-register at www.showfilmfirst.com this way we can update your VIP status and start offering tickets to you.
Apologies if you have already received an email like this. If you have already sent your Show Film First email, please ignore.
As soon as we receive your email we can start to act accordingly.
Thank you for your patience in this matter.
