"A Wednesday", a Bollywood thriller with quite a good twist, and not as long as Bollywood films usually are.

I just watched Hairspray (2007 version), I've just danced around the room like a maniac, sang along to songs i don't know, and it cheered me up no end! John Travolta is amazing in it, infact all of the actors and actresses are. And it gave me that dose of perving on Zac Efron i need once in a while haha! That film is definitely going to be a one to watch often. Ricki Lakes little cameo in it is cute too, i am so pleased with this remake, it hasn't let the original down one little bit :) *you can't stop the beeeeeeaaatt*

Finally saw Good Will Hunting, 10yrs late lol but wow, such a gd film, and great acting by Ben Affleck of all people!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show - finally saw it uninterrupted - great fun.

The Kite Runner - A moving drama about the pain of lost friendship, and the need for forgiveness. Excellent story, with some stunning scenery. It has given me some further insight into an area of the world I know little about.

"Fireflies In The Garden", on DVD. So far as I recall, this received quite mealy-mouthed reviews on release in the UK, so I didn't bother to see it on the big screen, but having watched the DVD, I would have been quite happy had I pa*d and seen it in the cinema, as it's a good film. OK, not in the least original so far as subject matter is concerned (a dysfunctional family reunited for a major event), but well-acted by a good cast (Willem Dafoe, Julia Roberts, Ryan Reynolds) and a slow burn. 7.5/10 from me.

I saw Nights in Rodanthe this weekend. It's on the top 10 tear-jerker list - didn't move me at all. A rather sweet love story, with a sad ending, but I remained dry-eyed.

I watched Lions for Lambs last night. I was expecting great things given that I remember being keen to see it when it was first release (but never got round to it). It wasn't bad, it wasn't great. Sort of middle of the road. I think I was too tired to want to watch a movie with a message. I kept watching Tom Cruise's feet to see if I coudl see the box he was standing on - I couldn't. Think it was a boring part for Meryl - she's such an amazing actress but didn't really have a role where she could shine. Also, didn't like how quickly Redford moved on to his next student. As though the last hour wasn't as "deep" as he was making out. Loved the two students / soldiers. Nothing like good friends.

I'm off work this week so on Monday i was glued to films and managed 5! yes i have no life whatsoever lol.
so i started with The September Issue.... i really enjoyed it, Anna Wintour is amazing, It is fascinating as to how much an influence she is on the fashion industry. And I'm pretty sire one of my managers aspires to be her lol.
Then i watched Twilight, for the very first time ever! And i understand what all the fuss is about, i thoroughly enjoyed it, mmmm Edward, i cant wait for New Moon now
Then it was Paranormal activity, review in the film section, good though...
After that Wall.E one of the cutest films ever, Disney animations never ever fail.
and last, and least Observe & Report with Seth Rogan.... utter sh** no the wonder it was only in the cinema for like a fortnight,
think its christmas films tomorrow! haha!

Could we clear this one up? If you are sitting in the same room as a loved one, with your eyes averted (as often as possible) from the TV screen, or even closed, and he's watching Back to The Future 3, that doesn't actually count as one of the last movies you saw, does it?
