i still want to be a music supervisor for film. i drive everyone nuts talking about what does and doesn't work in soundtracks on pretty much every film i've ever seen. luckily i manage to make mental notes during the film not say them out loud like i used to.

I actually qualified as a Legal Secretary back in the day, but never actually did the job because at the time the companies were telling me I was too young (I was 19) and the other half were telling me I had no experience. How am I supposed to get the experience if they wont give me a job because I was too young.

So because of this, I got myself an office junior position in an accounts department and carried from there. I am now 34 and work doing accounts payable. I never really wanted to take my accountancy exams but after a long think, I decided to do my AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) and have passed my first exam and taking the next one next week.

I dont believe accounting is what I really want to do, but in this day and age a job is a job and it allows me to p*y my bills and do a few things like holidays etc.

What would be my ideal/dream job. Hmmmmm that's a good question, I think I'd like to be a blue peter presenter and make lots of things out of stickyback plastic and loo rolls. Failing that..... not sure.

I'm very much enjoying going to school and even though I haven't even taken my GCSEs yet I'm starting to have ideas about what I might like to do. I wanted to be a director for a bit but I've found I have more of a passion for writing about film and that kind of thing. So maybe I'll be the next Mark Kermode :D

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.
