Depends whether you want a romantic drama or a comedy drama. Carnage is rated higher on imdb and is genuinely funny.

Saw this at a comedy industry screening on Tuesday.
Thought i t was fantastic, very very funny and all the cast are brilliant
It's such an interesteing watch in the way people/adults try and remain 'civilised' all the time while in actual fact get themselves so riled up inside.
it does feel quite stagey in it's setting but that doesnt make it lose anything and really draws you in the whole time. Really intrigued to go and see the play as well.

I would deffintley recommend peope see this film.

2nd time seeing at the Gate Cinema having seen it at the LFF last year. It's still quite a slight film, stagy of course which is perhaps unsurprising. Even in it's attempts to open it out with the opening and closing shots of the kids in the park, which is shot with mostly with a fixed camera. It doesn't really try to be cinematic but thankfully the script is funny enough to compensate for that. "I saw your friend Jane Fonda on TV the other day, made me want to go out and b*y a Ku Klux Klan poster" being one of the many laugh out loud lines.
It's also incredibly well acted by all concerned. It's 80 minute running time also means it doesn't outstay it's welcome.

Shame on the people who run the cinema though as they appeared to allow latecomers 40 minutes into an 80 minute film. Madness.

At Greenwich we had 20 minutes delay because "we are waiting for some more people" and then we had to endure 5 trailers. I am going to complain.

Film was fabulously funny, even second time round. Nice to see hdaniel82 and shmile.

8.5/10

And to all those people urging me to go see something else: :p

Even though it was only 80 minutes long, I found it slightly too long! Definitely less funny (for me) when the ladies got drunk, as it became less witty as well.
Some hilarious moments and seriously good acting! I want to see more Waltz this year!
8/10 for me

(sorry sf, that was really rude of me (us) to seat next to you, ignore you and speak French for a good 20 minutes  )
