Sneaking into another screening?

I do think we do well enough out of freeviews as it is.

Imagine being barred from a particular cinema or even chain if one was caught.

Mmmm! Maybe! I suppose there could be more argument for that as, if you b*y an item in most shops and change your mind, they will let you exchange it for another . . . so, if you b*y a cinema ticket and don't like the film, it would not seem wrong to leave it and go into another . . though I don't think the cinemas would view it like that!

Is it any different if you have pa*d for a ticket, but realise that you don't like the movie you are watching and decide to try an alternative? Less like stealing from cinema as they have taken your money.

If you go out and speak to them generally they will let you swap.

I think most big cinema chains have this rule that if you don't like what you see the first 10 minutes of a film you can ask for your money back.

We were in the shepherds bush cinema once and were leaving Half way through (think it was sleeping beauty). And the attendant seen us coming out of the screen, asked us why we we leaving. When we said we didn't like the movie he told us to go to another screen and watch some thing else

Where the option for "I don't think it's a bad thing, but I am too much of a chicken to do so"?

If there was this option I might have voted but none of the options fit my view, I did consider it once in the past but far too honest/chicken to try it.

You're not stealing from the cinema, you're stealing revenue from the decent film you do end up seeing and encouraging them to continue making the crap film you did p*y for. And if you didn't p*y for it and you're sneaking out of a free film to see something else then that's plain stealing.

tickets should cost about £3.50 but not much more than that. £5 is pushing it. Stands to reason if you p*ying £8 to £10 then you should get 2 films out of it.

Is no more stealing revenue from the decent film than watching a free preview, and maybe then getting further tickets for friends to then go. Would still serve the purpose of promotion as you'd still be "TellingTen". Not that I am condoning anything - just playing devil's advocate here (although that is Alythonian's job! Haha)
