Go ahead, make my day - by visiting my blog: http://jacobthehobnob.wordpress.com/

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Can't have been, lol. You are Weirdy!

You'd have been rather chuffed if she'd said Weirdy as you passed.

@Yinster - that's awful! Hope you get something positive from your complaint. An apology would be good for a start.

General rule of thumb but not always is if a film is shown here before the states will have security. Most of our previews have already been shown in America. So chances are the film will already been pirated. So less need then. However as The Best Exotic Marigold hotel is being shown to a British audience a whole two months before the states it doesn't surprise me at all. And you are correct it will be the film distribution company who ultimately decide whether a film will have security or not.

Our security were two guys who were pretty new to the whole malarky. Big and burly they arrived after we sat down and then one decided to chose to sit near at the back row. After 5 minutes he decided he didn't want to sit there so moved back down to the passageway next to his colleague. At around 18:15 they decided then to inform people when they entered to switch phones off. I went to the toilet and when I came back one said, well mumble "please switch your mobile off." I replied "What mobile?" That confused him greatly. Being pretty eager to impressed one even went up halfway and to the end of a row to tell someone off. Having said all this after the loud announcement of no filming after the non verbal generic one they really didn't anything except watch the film. Not even played with the night vision goggles once.

The girl I had at Holloway for Safe House seemed a bit checked out (although, wouldn't you be doing that job) but did NOT check for Virgin IDs, much to my relief!

Security was a bit of a laugh last night. We had one guy from England who came with the film John Carter and then not one, not two but five from up here. So in total 6 security for one film. Took our phones off us. But did not nothing else except watch the film. One of them was pretty rude to the usher when he moved their jackets off the seats as it was allocated seating.

Hi, I have a question about SKY reps, basically I applied for one tix for 21 jump street, then using the same account applied for another does this matter?
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."
