I couldn't see any improvement by using 3D and at times it looked ridiculous with out of focus backs of people protruding off the screen. Surely the point of 3D is to show depth and perspective and when this is out of focus it makes no sense.
At the end of the marathon screening I asked to see the manager and he took his sweet time arriving in the foyer. He said they lease the premises and agreed there are a number of 'issues' like no heating and mice and it is far from ideal. I asked for comp tickets and he obliged and he was eager to say I could use them in ANY Cineworld as he knew that Haymarket would not be my first choice. So the moral of the story is that with Cineworld you must make your complaint there and then. I had a long conversation with their most unhelpful customer service team by email in the past (after the mice scurried around during a film) and they can be a total pain when it comes to dealing with complaints.
Nice to see canadian_turtle and her friend who invited me to sit with them.
I used the online "contact us" and they asked for my address for the complimentary passes.
