Watched this with the family at a packed Cheshire Oaks tonight.

The wife loved it.....
the daughter hated it........
& it made me feel old ( but loved it also )

so a 9/10 from the oldies who love classic rock
& a 3/10 from the Bieber generation !!!!!!!!

What was that about, someone should've escorted her out. If she didn't look so crazy I would've done it myself.

Absolutely loved the movie! Took it some time to warm-up, but the second half was fantastic. The plot is crap, but I knew that - after all the west end version was just about bearable in my opinion. The leads were nothing to get exited about, but Catherine Zeta-Jones and Tom Cruise were unbelievable. Loved the scene with Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand!
Would love to see it again! 8/10

Could not believe the queue that formed to get into Vue Islington today. Clearly ROA has a big fan base!

Thought the film was actually quite entertaining and was curious to see how the plot would be different from that of the musical. Tom Cruise does rock his part and looks as if he is having the time of his life! Oh, and I loved Alec Baldwin too.

I'm seeing it again tomorrow with a friend. Can't get enough of the music! I'm sure it will become a sing-a-long classic hit.

Nice to chat to MarioLanza and Beate and yes, I was on my best behaviour today!

It is a shame as usual those who have premiere tickets get ushered into the cinema whilst those outside, get Tom's autograph and photos! I supposed we had a good introduction of the cast from the director and heard the cast speak for a change. I also recorded it.
My mum really wanted to see TC, so had a word with security outside and told them we had tickets but really wanted to see the stars arrive so they let us into the pen at the front as we had tickets even though it had been shut off, she got her photo and autograph so was over the moon!
Well done Rainey. I normally tried to loiter, but unfortunately, the security kept moving me along, even though I know one of the security by name now!

Here's my take of the intros:

Never actually caught the trailer for this. They actually end on a scene, which has been cut out of the final film....

Saw RoA in a packed Braehead. Really loved it and was surprised how good Tom Cruise was. I would happily watch this again and would even p*y to do so!
We were sitting in the back row of cinema and some clown in the row was using phone to email . . . until I stage whispered to put it off! I'm really getting fed-up with people thinking they have some exemption to "switch off your mobile"

Marks 9/10
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston

Oh dear... I may offend a few people now, but this was way too cringeworthy for me. Didn't like it at all. Alythonian summed it up well, they butchered so many half-decent songs, it was painful to watch. I Love Rock 'n' Roll? I don't think so. Russell Brand provided a few funny moments but overall... nuls points.
