First Tracking becoming more active

Just received this in an email.

Dear First Tracker,

We have cinema sites available in GLASGOW and nearby areas for trailer tracking.

We are now assigning venues for a trailer verification project around the release of CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER . Fieldwork for this project will be carried out from Friday 29th July to Saturday 31st July 2011. Please note - The project will run from 17.00 Friday 29th July until 22.30 Saturday 31st July. All paperwork will be made available by the end of business, Thursday 28th July. THE DEADLINE FOR DATA IS MIDNIGHT ON SATURDAY 31st JULY.

To be assigned to a venue, please only send an e-mail to first-tracking@firstmovies.com with the following details:
1. Your name (and preferably your field rep ID)
2. Contact number and what time is best to contact you
3. The venue(s) you are interested in covering

All venues are allocated on a first come, first served basis. The office will be open during the week between 10:00 and 18:00. On Friday 29th July and Saturday 31st July, it will be open between 11:00 and 19:00.

What are "SPi assignments"?

incase anyone is wondering. SPi assignments are basically like mystery shopping - usually for the food counter.

I got an email for this yesterday and signed on for doing it today/tommorrow for CA, then work messaged me and I have to work today and tomorrow now, so Ive had to cancel it -_-

I think your provided with a Letter of Authorisation that you can show to the Cinema Manager.
However, I don't think they are obliged to let you in.

Yes, one of the pages that you have to print off is a letter addressed to the manager explaining that you are their representative and asking them to allow you access. You are supposed to ask to see the manager when you arrive and give that to him/her.

Edit: you don't need to be there all day though if showing twice you have to go into both

So has anyone undertaken the trailer check assignments for them. I took part in the last round which was when the hobbit was released and haven't been able to get in touch with them regarding payment. Tried emailing and calling them but the phone just rings and rings before going to voicemail......
