That's good to know, as I still want to catch the film. I did e-mail Cineworld to ask, but so far all I've had is the automated response - the FMUK bush telegraph is much faster!

Jobsworth. Always depends on who you speak to. Nothing new for that cinema, sadly.

Not sure how much i should be grumbling when there's so many free BAFTA screenings but sheffield cineworld certainly aren't exactly covering themselves in glory so far. Firstly the films aren't fitting on the screen, so we keep missing any comments/subtitles on the bottom. Young Victoria just stopped halfway through and i was the only one with the gumption to go and alert someone so they could tell the projectionist. We were left sat in the dark for 20 mins and then the film re-started in the wrong place! But the biggest annoyance is the amount of late comers. We've never had a problem with this in sheffield so perhaps its a problem just with the slipper brigade telegraph readers, but there has been a constant stream of people for up to 45 mins late on all 3 screenings i've seen so far. Yes i know it's Alice weekend and the queues are huge, but i knew this and picked my tickets up in the morning to avoid having to queue with the hordes of screaming kids and teenagers. Surely a bit of foresight wouldn't have gone amiss. After all that though, i've thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the screenings so far and hope to catch some more.

Grumble away! The fact the screenings are free doesn't mean you should have to endure bad service and latecomers silently!

I think it's because they are also pa*d screenings (if people don't know about the voucher) so the usual rules about no latecomers admitted etc don't stand.

Just wanted to check do you have to b*y the telegraph to use this offer. I have downloaded a voucher off the website but just wanted to check before I go to the cinema.
Is there a certain time before the showings start that you can get your tickets. I would rather go in early and get tickets just to be on the safe side + are you allowed to get tickets for more than one film being shown the same day.

Thanks

You shouldn't need the Telegraph. Tickets for all Bafta showings are available now, get them early to avoid disappointment.
