I suspect it will be mainly Londoners, but if any people are travelling, we shoud have a back up plan for if it rains.

Could have sworn I replied to this but maybe not. I'd be in as long as its a weekend that I'm available. August is shaping up to be insane! :)

I am definitely in! I vote for Regents Park too, seeing as it is on my doorstep! :D There is also the Zoo, if you are bringing little kiddies, there is a peripheral fence with a path on the park side, which you can see some animals from.

But I will come whichever location is decided.

They can be localised too, if not everyone can get down to London?

I have been to large picnics in the park before, and it has been fine. I agree with Beate, I don't think we will get as many as FMUKCON. If there is a lot of us, we can spread out in smaller groups anyway. They can't prove you are together, and you don't even have to say you are together! If we don't make any trouble, no one is going to object. :D

We can always hold several - one in Hyde Park, one in Regents, one in Greenwich. Me I'm going to the one in Edinburgh's Botanic Gardens... any excuse...

Any progress on this?

Perhaps we could all meet up here? See a film too!
