Saw this with McG this afternoon using a code. Very entertaining and befitting of the cornetto trilogy. Great soundtrack. 7/10

Preference of cinemas:- 1. Glasgow Renfield Street Cineworld, 2. Glasgow Showcase, 3. Braehead Odeon, 4. Vue Fort, 5 Glasgow Springfield Quay, 5. any other cinema in Glasgow area including Hamilton
Also Falkirk, Dunfermline and Stirling but these are rarely used for free previews.

I had really wanted to see this even though I don't remember that much of the two other films in the Cornetto Trilogy but I had seen Paul and loved it so assumed it might be similar. I spent my last Picturehouse vouchers on it on a day when I really didn't have the time for it as I have loads to do before my holiday.

Yes there are some funny bits in it but it wasn't nearly as hilarious as the guys in front of us thought it was. When you are only mildly amused, constant laughter just grinds you down even more and those two were beyond annyoing. Oh there is a Cornetto paper flying past - hilarious!

It started ok with an exploration of male friendship but veered seriously off tanget when zombie robots suddenly lost their heads spurting blue blood. I mean WTF - what does WTF even mean? (Har har).

The pub brawls got really boring and the ending - plain terrible. The only fun was spotting actors in cameos like the couple from Sightseers and Rafe Spall to name a few but it basically meant lots of good actors were wasted in tiny roles.

I couldn't wait for this world to end.

I agree, for the first 30 or so minutes, I found this film hilarious and really enjoyed it. However, as soon as the people started spurted blue blood, the film got really silly for me and I find it more and more ridiculous.

All in all a disappointing end to the cornetto trilogy.

I really enjoyed this film but I kind of feel the last 15 minutes of the movie was an anti climax!

The build up was great but it was one of those films where I felt they just threw a quick ending as if to go... "Ermm we don't know where we are taking this now but we need an ending"

I was thinking of at least three ways they could go with it but alas, by the end of the flick I was a little let down.

I saw this on its day of release in the Brixton Ritzy - my anticipation had been heightened by the crazy Edgar Wright Takeover I'd done at the Prince Charles Cinema a few weeks before! I liked the film - I thought it was quirky, very well shot (some of those single-shot action sequences were fairly impressive) and had a very interesting concept. But I thought that it was fatally let-down by a script which lacked the constant stream of laughs that characterised Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. There were a few funny moments, but it sadly dipped below my expectations.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Saw this tonight with my youngest Daughter and two Sons, using our Sweet Sunday Codes! We all enjoyed it. Out of the three films, three of us rate Shaun Of The Dead the best, followed by Hot Fuzz. My Son preferred Hot Fuzz then Shaun. None of us thought this was as good as the other two.
