Its so great that you enjoy it so much Preston o/ Its going to be great for the winter providing you dont get sick of by that time ! if you do fancy changing it round a bit then cauliflower and potatoes will be delicious too , aubergines and peas work well too and also diced chicken and chick peas are a fantastic combo. You can even make a seafood special if you like seafood, king prawns and cut up fillets of sea bass if you fancy splashing out or just regular prawns and some defrosted fish from the freezer (basa from tesco is very good and very cheap also tilapia fillets from the asian freezer section is perrrrrfect ) all of these different combos for the curry are amazing just straight out of the bowl like your having , a nice big warmed up bun for dipping in however is extremely satisfying and so luxurious especially for the coming winter !

And Keep your cycling up and dont let the cold put you off , but i can understand how difficult it is having to go outside in the winter, could you possibly get an indoor excercise bike or even a cross trainer (Elliptical machine) to use throughout the winter months ? I would recommend the elliptical machine a lot, 40 mins on that in the mornings will set you right up , you can even catch up on the mornings news and events on TV whilst on it ! you can get them for about £100 second hand off ebay or they may be even half price brand new ones about at argos or somewhere

So much information to take in there from Mr Glass but damn it sounds brilliant. After a few days of getting in to the swing of things I'm without any stiffness. Off for my fourth run of the week today but taking my son the park for a kick around first which is a nice warm up. Any tips on warm down stretches Mr Glass?

You certainly inspired me this morning to get on and do my exercise. I was faffing around yet again browsing the internet looking for a new top to go with a tweed skirt I b*ght a few weeks ago (in other words killing time) and then your post popped up and it certainly made me move my body. I have been up since 7am and just basically being a slob procrastinating instead of doing something so just done my DVD so feel set up for the day :D

I'm sure that MrG and moviemann will have words of wisdom to pass on.

Menu of the day:
Milkshake with raspberries and a banana (300 calories)
Carrot and coriander as had loads of carrots (I can't waste food it goes against the grain) with a slice of wholemeal bread (I'm guessing about 200 calories). An apple (70 calories)
Vegetable chilli will update what vegetables are in it when it defrosts but will be adding my surplus runner beans from yesterday. Rhubarb which I had frozen a couple of weeks ago with a few of my frozen blackberries with weight watchers custard, I don't add sugar to my rhubarb I just have it as it is. (dessert about 150 calories) will update chilli calories when I see what it is.

What is everyone else doing today including the ones who are being elusive lately?

Got plenty to spare shame you're not near to as I've just frozen 2 portions. Please post your curry recipe as we are all fans of curry on here. I've just picked up a Tesco magazine and lots if yummy healthy recipes in there. Enjoy your walk I did mine yesterday along the banks of the Mersey which was lovely especially with the sun shining.

Evening everyone. Not long got back from my 4th run of the week. Made sure to push myself that bit further tonight as I won't have time for a run tomorrow as I'm visiting my dad as it's 50th birthday. The man does circuit training twice a week and runs 3 times, he puts me to shame lol. Hope everyone is well and love coming here, the chat is great and plenty of motivation. Glad to hear I inspired you Diane, nice that me getting off my lazy backside can motivate someone else. I last weighed myself Tuesday so may be tempted to weigh in this Tuesday, not sure whether to hold off. Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday evening

Right no excuses, I'm back on track this week!! Just did 2 x this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_J8btnIEKQ our old but trusted friend Tiffany! Will do the school run plus library this afternoon. I forgot how much fun those workouts were, doesn't feel like 11 minutes! I'm going to be a bit sore around the sides and arms tomorrow though. So plan for the week is Tiffany today and tomorrow, gym and vibro plate wed and friday and vibro plate and possibly Tiffany if I get time on thursday.
b*ght loads of ryvita on saturday so brekkie was sweet onion ryvita with a slice of ham, laughing cow cheese spread ( extra light) and cucumber so for 2 it would be about 140 cals. I'll have a mid morning snack before lunch to keep the old metabolism going.
