Now that I'm having a flashback there was a heck of a lot of product placement in that film - Chicken Cottage, Kenco and Burger King all enjoyed quite a bit of coverage. Not great.

That was abysmal. Did no one read the script before they started filming?! It has the feel of a TV movie with a Hollywood budget. Poorly written script, clumsy dialogue, weak story, superficial characters, wooden acting (does Andrews' facial expression ever change?), lack of chemistry between the leads, cheesy music and shoddy editing.

This is a contender for one of the worst films of the year.

Oh dear. My friend would really like me to go with her to see this one. Is this something that I must do to maintain our friendship? Shall I just grin and bear it? Probably.

The script is unintentionally funny so you could end up laughing (or cringing), it depends on how you embrace the story. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I did it for my parents. I'm sure you could endure it for a pal o/

Watched this at the weekend and didn't think it was that bad, sure some of the dialogue was pretty terrible at the beginning but it did get better as things progressed and I actually learnt a few things that I didn't know (assuming events etc in this film were accurate).

It certainly made me think about how my perception of the national press etc and the way they report & portray news has changed over the last couple of decades and for that at least, I think it did just enough to get a 6/10 from me...

I'm going to see it tomorrow with my friend so I'll report back. I actually want to see it and quite like to see different adaptations of stories true or otherwise. I will give an honest opinion but I always like to see the best in things so take from it what you like.

I totally agree with Razorback on everything. One thing that irritated me was putting Diana in heels with her classic blazer jeans look it just looked so wrong. 6/10

I saw this today with last of my vouchers - was partly curious and partly because I'd seen everything else at least once!
I found Naomi believable as Diana (although could they not have at least done the hair right? Surely that is one of the easiest things to emulate). I found all the backdrops believable too, particularly Kensington Palace. As someone already said - definitely a Hollywood budget.

I'd say this is more aimed at the American market, and is nowhere as good as The Queen was for me.

I wasn't bored.
