Thought this was excellent, Tom Hanks was great. Enjoyed the pace and there were lots of 'heart in the mouth' moments even though the outcome was known.

I've never been to Fulham Vue before and didn't know that the Tube and the cinema entrances are in the same small shopping centre. So a very convenient location too.

Were you there?

I was with jeanelle and don't think we saw you!
(I don't actually know what you look like but I believe jeanelle does)

Thought this was great. Didn't drag for me at all, and didn't know the story other than the basics. Was 2009 the year this actually took place? Tom Hanks, as usual, was wonderful. Very glad I went, was going to wait til Monday but Fulham was a pretty good cinema as well. Aside from some chatty cathys and some lights staying up. I just don't get it.
i was there but i arrived just before start time so didnt get time to have a look around before starting

i really like that little cinema wish more would go there instead of wandsworth :cross:

i loved the film and totally gripped throughout
only thing
i wish i didnt hear an interview with tom hanks before where he stated that he went for a drink with the real captain phillips, as then suspense would have been even more
Have to agree with the 10 out of 10. Also watched the red carpet from 18:00 at Cineworld Sheffield, so watched the feed over and over :) But it was worth it for the film.

Busy in Edinburgh tonight for a Telegraph screening.
I really enjoyed this and can't belive it was as long as it was, the time just flew past as I was gripped by the story (despite knowing what was going to happen). I think Paul Greengrass did an excellent job with the story and the was a fact it was well documented, just as he did with United 93.
Hanks was excellent too.

Excellent, nerve shredding drama.

Great work from Tom Hanks and from the inexperienced actors playing the pirates.

Gripping throughout, it certainly didn't feel over 2 hours long. One of my films of the year 9.5/10

Really enjoyed this tonight at third attempt of seeing it.
Had worried that having seen that trailer about 40,000 times in past few weeks that I'd pretty much seen it all. I needn't have worried.
OK so it's a true story, but what an original one. No sign of any White Houses being stormed! Boy is it a thriller - keeps your adrenaline flowing right to the end. Was most impressed with T.Hanks acting in final few scenes.

9/10 from me.

Like Stuartboy managed to see this at the third attempt last night. Well worth the wait.

Very well filmed, and having afterwards read the interview with Capt Phillips from the Huffington Post which was also very interesting.

Action packed, and even tho new the outcome totally engrossing. Very well done Greengrass and yes def a well deserved Oscar nomination for Tom Hanks and possibly Musa too.

Felt some sympathy for the Somalian's at being forced by the gangs to make money!!

One of the best films this year 9.5/10 from us

The only time I felt sympathy for the pirates was when they were discussing the over fishing.
