I don't understand why everyone loves this film, it's not for me although I left after an hour. Perhaps the ending was fab but it was a bit of a nothingness for me.

I kinda loved this.
A stunning soundtrack accompanied by brilliant yet sublime visuals. Agreed - not much actually happens, and I admit that I found the constant name-dropping a little contrived once the initial joke that they were centuries old had been done.
Loved the atmosphere - it just oozed style. Less loved the True Blood elements involving the drinking of bottled blood as that was straight copying.
Loved Adam's car! I'd want one except for the fact that I used to have one exactly like that. OK. I want it back again.

Perfect ending too.

Oh - did I mention the soundtrack?

Call me old fashioned but if I'm going to spend two hours sat in the cinema I prefer something to actually happen in the film. Gets going a bit in the last 30 minutes but too late to rescue this film from being glacier slow and rather pretentious.

Shite! :X
One word review is dead easy for this film.
I totally wasted 2 hours of my life and never mind Only Lovers left alive . . . I wished I wasn't alive while watching this. :X
Marks 0/10 for the film, acting, story but -3 (negative 3) is what I would give it for wasting my time! :wall:

Awful film, can't describe how much I hated this.
I don't think I've seen a film that's divided everyone's opinion so much.It would appear that it's got the marmite effect, you either love or hate it.
Please put me in the hate camp.
