Marvel’s superhero squad will hit UK cinemas before anywhere else in the world.
The release date for ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ has been brought forward in the UK and Ireland.
Originally pegged for a 1 May 2015 launch, Marvel has announced via Twitter that Joss Whedon’s super-sequel will now hit cinemas over here on 24 April instead.
This means there’s now less that a year to wait for the Avengers to reassemble on screen to take on new villain Ultron.
It’s not the first time we’ve got the big blockbusters before anywhere else, in fact, it’s starting to become standard practice for tentpole movie releases.
Other big films that opened here first recently include ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’, ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, ‘Thor: The Dark World’, ‘Prometheus’, and the first ‘Avengers’ film.
