Rosane....I totally understand! But like others have mentioned above.....The films can never be as good as the books purely like what you've said...it has to be adapted for the screen....my friend were confused about the fire but I think the bridge bit was to take the micky since the bridge did use to wobble lolz
Anyways I thought it was 6.3/10....I didn't like how the last two major scenes were so rushed when they could have been emphasised more since this film is shorter than the last few and I was emotional when I read them scenes in the book!
The thing I did like was when I saw Surbiton station which is a train station where I work nearby (I literially was like
*POINTS* OMG THAT'S MY WORK STATION! EUGH THERE'S NO CAFE....WELL THERE IS A COFFEE SHOP BUT I DON'T THINK YOU CAN SIT INSIDE!) lolz

pa*d to go and see this at Odeon Braehead on Saturday. Probably unwisely we chose the 4.30pm showing which was full of kids who kept having to go to the loo.
Haven't read any of the books, but have seen the previous films. Thought this one was okay, but wayyyyy too long. Think I'll wait until the last two come out on DVD as I don't think that I could waste however many hours it is of my life sitting through them. Definitely a franchise for the fans!

Went to see this on Friday afternoon, so the cinema was pretty empty. I was in a good mood because I had a voucher that gave me three scoops of Ben & Jerry's ice-cream for the price of two, so I happily had my face in a giant tub of ice-cream for the first twenty minutes of the screening.
However, unfortunately I think my enjoyment wore off as the actual film wore on. I felt that it was pretty slow, and I kept itching for some proper narrative. I've read all the books so I knew what was going to happen, but I felt like this film was basically just seeing up plot-points for the grand finale of the final book (final two films). I don't think it really held up as a self-contained story.
Some of the visuals were fun, such as the scary Dementors, and the smashing up of the wonky bridge. I always get bored by the quidditch scenes, but have to say these were the most realistic effects yet.
I thought the burgeoning romances were again really held off in order to make more of an impact for the last films. All in all, I felt like this film was just treading water waiting for the big finale.
I give it 6/10

Another film I am still awaiting to watch!!! I normally watch HP films on the day of release although this year my circumstances were slightly different and so my mood was off but hopefully will watch it within the next two weeks! Am considering of watching at Vue Greenwich or Odeon. Friend wants to watch it in IMAX. Has anyone watched it in IMAX? Any good?

Lol. So it's not a sharper image or something? The tickets are about £4.00 more for IMAX.... I think I'll let the friend decide since he was dying to see it in IMAX on what he wants to do.

I totally agree with you, I find the seats there really uncomfortable. They should really change them and actually put some thing you'd want to sit on. I'm not really that fond of Odeon Greenwich... I only end up using it as my friends live in Greenwich!

I also hadn't read any of the books and hadn't even seen all of the films. However I was invited to a private screening so went along. Really enjoyed the film but felt it ended in the wrong place. The last 20 mins were unecessary imo. It reminded me of the last LOTR, I hated the final 30 mins which added nothing to the story.
