Also just found this when i searched Google;
In the legal part of Vue Cinemas it says only this:
10. Hot food brought from outside of the cinema may not be consumed on the premises.
surely sweets and drinks are not hot food so should be ok taking your own?

someone got stopped at gateshead for trying to bring in a maccy d's .....their mam had gone ahead of them to get seat and when she turned round they werent there.....she asked me why they were stopped and i told her why. She asked me to keep her seats for her and went out to fetch them.....came back into the screening a few minutes later...With the macdonalds hidden in a shoe box! Very funny the whole thing was quite bazarre! lol

People really do wierd things!!! When we went to see Up, their was someone in the centre seats eating Sushi!!!!

I can't believe some of you have had bags checked or stuff taken away from you
I usually take a small drink and some sweets with me. A bag of haribo is the current fav. I refuse to p*y the prices they charge for their sweets and I don't want to drink a gallon of cola syrup or eat a bucket of popcorn - Weight WAtchers wouldn't allow it.

That's why they don't mind free previews as they know a lot of people will b*y their food and drink.
