Re: Trainwreck

Good laugh out loud comedy in parts, Amy Schumer took a good lead but didnt really recognise the American Athletes in the film, definately aimed more torwards the Americans than us Brits. went straight over my head,

Re: Les Misérables

Also went to the Odeon Covent Garden, thankfully no paper was asked for as I didn't have one. Arrived at 6pm and got the two last seats together at the front. Seemed like a lot of people were being turned away. Did cry a few times, and wouldn't mind re-watching though I need a few months to recover ...

Re: Avengers Assemble

Yay, what a film! I am not really a fan of Super Heroes type films, but this one blew me away. It was far far better than I imagined, and the heroes were well set against each other. I wondered if it would be just too much with them all in one film, but boy does it work! I thought the 3D at the ...

Re: Coriolanus

We managed to sit through 45 minutes and that was 45 minutes too long. It was dire. That's the first time I've walked out of a film for years. It would have been fine if the actors weren't speaking in Shakespearian English throughout. It didn't work and took me completely out of the film. Here here ...

Norwegian scenery was absolutely stunning, apart from that I really do not know where to start and dont think I could put into words what I thought of it, so I ...

Re: The Devil's Double

Dominic Cooper deserves an Oscar for his acting in this film! Wow!!! I was totally blown away with it. Brilliantly done, although very brutal and hard to watch I enjoyed every minute of it. The acting was amazing and the way they merged the 2 parts was seamless. Brilliant 10/10. I watched it at ...

Re: Mr Popper's Penguins

Brilliant loved it. Jim Carrey, excellent havent seem him in a film for ages. Thought the penguins names were a bit disappointing. I am sure they could hae come up with something a bit more imaginative.

Re: The Smurfs

My son really wants to see this, but to be honest it doesnt look that great to me. I am sure this has been done loads of times before and probably better. I remember the REAL Smurfs from my youth. These blue little things are definately imposters! I will be going on Wednesday I think unless I can ...
